The Hearth & Bean is Austin's coziest neighborhood cafΓ© β where every cup is made with care and every seat feels like yours.
Whether you're a regular or walking in for the first time, you're already part of the family. Pull up a chair.
The three things our regulars can't live without. Try one. Try all three. We won't judge.
Our signature espresso latte with house-made brown sugar syrup, oat milk, and a pinch of cinnamon. Warm, rich, and dangerously easy to sip. This one's earned a permanent spot at every corner table in the cafΓ©.
$6.50Flaky, golden, and brushed with local wildflower honey right before it hits your plate. We bake these fresh every morning and they're usually gone by 10am. Come early β we're not sorry.
$4.25Thick-cut sourdough from a local Austin bakery, topped with whipped ricotta, fig jam, and toasted walnuts. Simple, satisfying, and honestly one of the best things on the menu. Lena's personal favorite.
$8.00Hi, I'm Lena Torres, and The Hearth & Bean is my love letter to the Austin neighborhood I grew up in. I opened this cafΓ© because I wanted a place where people could slow down, feel comfortable, and always find a friendly face behind the counter. We're not chasing trends β we're building a place worth coming back to, every single day.
Our mission is simple: serve great coffee, make people feel welcome, and be a real part of this community. We source our beans from small-batch roasters, bake in-house every morning, and make just about everything from scratch. Quality matters to us, but not more than the people who walk through that door.
The values that drive us? Warmth first, always. We believe good food and good conversation can change someone's whole day. That's why we take the time to learn your name, remember your order, and make sure you leave feeling just a little bit better than when you came in. This place is for the regulars, the first-timers, and everyone in between.
We're not a chain and we're not trying to be one. The Hearth & Bean is a neighborhood hangout β the kind of place that has your usual ready before you even reach the counter. We're grateful every single day for the Austin community that's made us their spot. Come find out why. We've probably already saved you a seat.

We let our community do the talking. These are real vibes from real people who call this place their second home.
"I've been coming to The Hearth & Bean every weekday for almost a year and they still somehow make me feel like I'm walking in for the first time β in the best possible way. The Hearth Latte is the reason I get out of bed. I genuinely don't know how they get the brown sugar syrup that perfect. This place is Austin at its finest."

"Lena remembered my daughter's name after our second visit. That kind of warmth is just not something you find everywhere. We come in every Saturday morning for the croissants and the overnight oats and it's become this little ritual our whole family looks forward to. A place like this is a gift to any neighborhood lucky enough to have it."

"I work remotely and I've tried basically every cafΓ© in Austin to find one I can actually focus in. The Hearth & Bean is it β the vibe is calm without being sterile, the cold brew keeps flowing, and the brownie at 2pm is my reward for actually finishing things. The staff are kind, the Wi-Fi works, and I never feel rushed. I basically live here now."
